Background[]
Originally planning to steal the N-7316 drug with his best friend, Owen, Sam inadvertently kills him, after Owen backs out. Sam later breaks into the Rossum Labs with Echo in order to steal the drug to sell to Bel Med Tech, a Rossum rival corporation. Echo eventually exposesSam's plans and identifies Sam as Owen's killer. Sam is later seen meeting with Adelle DeWitt, who offers him the chance to join the Dollhouse in exchange for enough money to save his mother,Antionette, from financial problems and losing her home. Whether Sam takes the deal or not is yet to be determined.
