The D.C. Dollhouse is the Dollhouse Agency's Washington, D.C. branch. It is run very differently from the L.A. Dollhouse. For one thing, the D.C. dolls are named for Greek gods, whereas the L.A. branch's dolls are named based on the NATO Phonetic Alphabet. For another, the imprinting process seems to be much harsher, necessitating the use of a facial visor. This could be the result of inferior technology, but is more likely intentional; chief programmer Bennett Halverson prefers that the dolls experience pain, ostensibly so that she can measure whether or not the imprinting process damages their nervous system.
